Horizon heating and cooling11/25/2023 I highly would recommend this dealer.Sun Capital Partners has sold Horizon Group Holdings, a residential provider of plumbing, heating and air conditioning services, to New Mountain Capital. They came out the next day, made the adjustment and it works perfectly. We had an issue shortly after installation where we were not getting enough airflow when running the AC. The installers did an excellent job with the removal of existing system, installation of new system, clean up and provided detailed instructions on the operation of the system and the programmable thermostat. Horizon's salesman, Peter Bartos did a wonderful job in presenting our options and made the transaction seamless. Although they were not the cheapest the things that sold us were that they performed a comprehensive check/analysis of our home to determine requirements, made numerous suggestions and solutions and offered great financing options which allowed us to go with the top of the line equipment. My wife and I checked out numerous Manufacturers and associated dealers before making our decision to go with Horizon Services Inc., and the installation of our Lennox HVAC system. Keep in mind that these are just the three things that impressed me most but I was thoroughly impressed from beginning to end. They even asked if I was OK with how the new air unit was turned (i.e. 3) When they installed the new system, they called me down to my basement to the heat pump and fuse panel or outside to the air unit every time they started another step in the installation. 2) They provided so much information and explained everything to the point to where I had almost no questions. The three things that impressed me the most were 1) They put booties over their feet before entering my house every single time, even the sales representative who was not doing any mechanical work. ![]() Each visit, they were detailed, informative and extremely professional. Over the span of two weeks, Horizon came out to my home for a service call on my old system, a meeting to discuss pricing on a new system and then they came out to install a new system. It seems like every visit result’s in more damage to your system leading to them asking you to pay them to fix the issue they caused. I don’t understand how they can break my unit then demand I pay them to fix it.ĭon’t get SCAMMED like they are trying to do to me and avoid these people at all costs. But their only solution was that I either pay them 3,000 to fix the leak or 5,000 for a new A/C. I understand accidents happen and I’m very understanding with that. The technician indicated that it the gauge the first technician who serviced the unit used was likely faulty and caused him to over pressurize the system causing a crack and the leak. When they came back out, they said it likely had a leak. Second, our A/C stopped pumping out cold air. Apart from the point that PVC pipes don’t rot, the PVC pipe was part of my new furnace installed 6 months ago. When I had horizon come out to fix it, they tried to say that the PVC pipe was probably old and rotted. Mind you this unit is only around 7 years old and we have never had any issues with it.įirst, he cracked a PVC pipe causing a leak in our utility closet. After their technician left, we started having several issues. ![]() I hired them to service my A/C as I do every year (1st year with Horizon).
